Skiing - your apartment is right on the slopes
In Lindenheim you live in the middle of the 4-mountain ski area. Simply strap on your skis in front of our apartment house and start stress-free on the sunny plateau in Rohrmoos on blue and red slopes and later switch to more difficult slopes. With a total of 123 kilometers of slopes, everyone will find their favorite slope. And the early risers among our guests can make lonely turns on perfectly groomed slopes or in fresh powder snow. By the way, the ski school and ski kindergarten are only 100 m away. Close enough for a warming soup and a short break in the apartment before you hit the slopes again.
Cross-country skiing - in Untertal or in Ramsau am Dachstein
If you are a real Rohrmooser, we recommend the crystal trails in the picturesque Untertal, a natural gem and insider tip at the same time. Along the stream it goes to the Riesach waterfall and back - with refreshments in the Gasthof Weisse Wand and in the Waldhäuslalm. It's more sporty on the 220 kilometers of cross-country trails on the sunny Ramsau plateau and on the Dachstein glacier. Whether classic or skating. Everything is possible here.
Tobogganing - day and night
On the Hochwurzen, our local mountain, you can toboggan by day and by floodlights. Roaring on two runners over the 7.5 km long and perfectly groomed toboggan run is great fun for young and old. Cozy huts along the route invite you to warm up ... what could be better than hot chocolate with a lot of cream or a liquid apple strudel. You can rent the right toboggan directly at the gondola valley station.
Hiking - on cleared winter hiking trails
Whether snow flurries or sunshine, winter hiking is one of the most beautiful experiences in Austria's snowy mountains. Whether with small children in a sliding sledge, or with pleasure in the pleasant winter sun ... numerous winter hiking trails on the Rohrmooser sunny plateau, in the Upper and Lower Valleys are dedicated to enjoying nature, relaxation and recreation. A special tip is the four seasons path from the Hochwurzen into the valley.
Sleigh rides
The romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride is a must for any winter holiday. The powerful and at the same time calming pull of snorting horses and their smell, typical noises, the warming blanket made of sheep's wool ... an indescribable atmosphere! And when Frau Holle then covers the wonderful mountain world with billions of the finest flakes in soft winter white, the magic is perfect.
